Allyson Lynch (née Brinston) is a socio-linguistic anthropologist, consultant, and dedicated advocate for Indigenous language revitalization.

 

She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from MacEwan University and a Master of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Alberta, where her research explored the intersection of community-led language revitalization and immersive technologies like virtual reality.

As the founder of Allyson Lynch Consulting, Allyson partners with Indigenous communities, organizations, and educators to support culturally grounded, strategic approaches to language and cultural preservation.

 

Her work blends academic expertise with lived experience and deep respect for Indigenous Knowledge Systems.

 

Allyson is also a proud mom of three young children and is passionate about creating a future where Indigenous languages are not only preserved, but spoken, celebrated, and lived by the next generation.
